We hope you all enjoyed your summer holidays and wasn’t it lovely that we had some really fantastic weather in Liverpool

Run For Life

Jill and Heather took part in the Run for Life in Sefton Park, both ladies completed the course and raised a staggering £800 for a charity that is very close to their heart.

Thank you to everyone who donated money

Summer Fair

We held our Summer Fair on 21st July and it was a lot of fun, it was lovely to see so many visitors and we hope you all enjoyed the afternoon.  We had entertainers in who the residents really enjoyed.

23rd August we held an amazing Hawaiian theme party.  Many of the residents actively took part by wearing Hawaiian shirts and the ladies wore grass skirts and garlands!

We had a ukelele band who involved the residents in dancing and sing alongs.

Thank you to everyone who returned their questionnaire your feedback enables us to develop the service and improve your relative’s lives. Copies of the questionnaire results are in the conservatory. Once again thank you I will keep you up to date as we improve the service.

Redecoration

We hope we have not caused too much inconvenience while we have been decorating the home while you have been visiting. Recently the small lounge near Blue unit was re painted. Nearly all the toilets and bathrooms have been updated and we hope to have completed all the remaining bathrooms and toilets by the end of November.

The main dining room and the family room will be redecorated   shortly. In the New Year we will focus on the corridors being repainted as some of the corridors are looking tired.
